What is ChartAlerts?
ChartAlerts is an automated tool that has been built so traders can create customised alerts based on their chosen timeframes, indicators and pairings. When the alerts are triggered, a notification is instantly sent to the user.

How does it work?
It’s a pretty straight forward set up process. You register on the ChartAlerts website and provide your Telegram handle. Once registered, you will log in to the ChartAlerts website and begin to customise and create your own alerts using the simple one-page interface. In the meantime, a Telegram channel is created for you, where you will be able to find all of your alerts. Make sure you have Telegram notifications turned on so you are informed instantly.

A bunch of the alerts that I have set up, based on my trading style.

Who is ChartAlerts for?
Simply put, it is designed for all cryptocurrency traders. More specifically, the range of timeframes, indicators and pairings means that the service is impressively flexible and can be tailored to the trader’s specific needs.

For example; if you only scalp BTC, you can simply select the BTC pairing, select the 15-minute timeframe and add any indicators of your choice such as ‘Price Burst Bullish’ or ‘Bullish RSI Divergence’ which could be what you are specifically looking for when taking a trade.

What are the benefits of ChartAlerts?

Saves a LOT of time
Time is precious for an efficient trader and even more so for those who are trading part time alongside a day job, family duties and other time consuming commitments. ChartAlerts allows trader’s to cut out the noise and focus on the charts that matter, based on your customised alert set ups. No more manually scanning every Binance alt pairing, looking for that MA cross or RSI divergence. ChartAlerts literally picks out the opportunities for you.

Tailored to your needs
The beauty with this tool is the ability to make it completely customisable to you and your trading styles. If I’m only interested in MA crosses, trading volume spikes or S/R flips, I can be notified instantly when the coins that meet my criteria are triggered. Every Binance and Binance US pairing is listed and I can chose from four different timeframes and over 65 indicators, with more being added all the time. Additionally you can set a minimum requirement of 24H volume in BTC or USDT.

Real-time alerts
All alerts are forwarded to my personalised Telegram channel in real-time meaning that as long as notifications are turned on, I will be notified instantly when an alert is triggered. This decreases my chances of missing an opportunity.

Removing bias
We all have a favourite project, a coin that we’ve traded in the past that has treated us well (or not so well) or a coin that we have been caught bagholding. Sometimes when I manually scan charts, I subconsciously look at these charts and try to force a bullish scenario. The beauty with ChartAlerts is that it doesn’t give a f**k what coins you have fell in love with. It removes all bias and emotion, meaning that it will pick out opportunities that we may never of even considered ourselves.

How ChartAlerts works for me

As many of you know, I’m not a full-time trader. I like to play the daily timeframe and trade the macro. This is my personal style because I feel that macro structures are much more reliable and it also suits my current commitments as I simply don’t have time, or the interest to day trade. I work a full time day job, have started my own project, trade high timeframes, provide content publicly and like to keep a work-life balance. I’m always looking for opportunities to be more efficient and reduce my screen time.

I used to spend around 1–2 hours every morning before work scanning charts, looking for the opportunities myself. Over the last two months, I have been able to reduce this time and now I only need 20–30 minutes per morning. I do this by simply looking at what alerts have been sent to my Telegram channel overnight. This strategy may not work for everyone, but this is how I personally find value in using ChartAlerts.

Conclusion

ChartAlerts is a really useful tool that has had a positive impact on my trading during the past couple of months. I do believe that there is potential for ChartAlerts to provide even more value for traders, but I can appreciate that the tool is still in its infancy and the developers will continue to make improvements and adjustments based on user feedback, as time goes on. I would personally like to see more exchanges and timeframes added to the alert options and an all-in-one app, so there is no reliability on Telegram.
